5AC Rubber Coated Reef Tongs
We got tired of our reef tools always rusting extremely fast, as everything with a hint of metal does in the saltwater industry, even stainless steel. So one day we attempted to paint and coat the tongs we use with a fancy marbled fluorescent paint and rubber coating. When using them at the reef shows, people absolutely loved them when they came to our booth.
We started making them for others and offering them. Will they last forever? probably not. Will they hold up a lot longer than anything else we’ve used? Yes. The added benefit for us in handling hundreds of frags with them is the gentle rubber on the livestock. They are hand crafted with a heavy duty stainless steel base and each one is unique, no 2 are the same.
